If you smile through your fear and sorrow,
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through
For you.

That's the time you must keep on trying,
Smile, what's the use of crying?
Your car might not be CAPABLE of doing it, we get that too. It's cool; we still love you - that's why CalTrans made the turnouts and passing lanes.

HOWEVER....IF you are in this crowd, and you drive past the turnouts going 30 miles per hour with 15 cars behind you, and then speed up when we finally hit the passing lane so not everyone can get around you, that means you SUCK. You are a rude asshole who needs to DIAF. YOU are the asshat who causes accidents when people try to go around you because they are so damn frustrated that you refuse to do the polite thing and turn out. You aren't helping people to be more safe, you are being a jerk, and you need to get the fuck off our roads.

Your friends and neighbours who also have to share the road.

Heh, I started writing this post on Monday. It's now Tuesday Thursday. Wonder when I will actually get it put up?

Anyway, I went diving on Sunday....it was the first time I have managed to dive since I fell in November. I celebrated in grand fashion, by buying a wetsuit of my very own. Hooray!

I can't wait til I have the spare cash for an underwater housing for my new camera. Well, its not new anymore, but still, I want the damn housing. Hehe. They are pretty pricey, so I don't think it will be soon. I bid on one on Ebay, but I bid really low so I don't expect to actually get it, which is fine cuz my paycheck was screwed up this week *glares at boss* (Kidding Mister Boss, you know I love ya). I will know on Saturday, so we shall see.

My boss found this today. It's KICK ASS if you are like me and are neurotic about your workspace, and have to keep it the same across multiple systems. You can sync things like your bookmarks, or random folders or whatever. I am using it to keep my cute little cheat sheets the same across the three computers I work at regularly. It also allows me to share documents with other people, so the boss and I can keep our reports and schedules and such the same if either of us makes a change. LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally broke down and ordered a new laptop last week. Ms Dell the First has been a good laptop, and I love how small and portable she is. However, when I bought it, I made a very very n00b computer buyer mistake: I went cheap. I bought for current needs without taking into consideration how my needs might change over time. Job responsibilities have changed, I started playing Lineage II, I have started taking more pictures than I used to, and I just do more that requires power than just IRC and a web browser. Somehow a single 2G processor and 512 of ram shared with the video card just wasn't cutting it anymore. I was working training a n00b last week and realised that doing just my normal work I was running consistently at full processor and ram usage, and just decided that it was time to upgrade.

Ms. Dell the First will be retired with honour. She has been there with me for literally just about everything for the last two years, including my wedding.

Honey and I tried a kick ass restaurant on Friday that I highly recommend. Their website is www.meltingpot.com. It's a fondue joint as you might guess by the name, and their food is delish. It's definitely a date night thing, as dinner took about two and a half hours. LOVED! GOGOGOGOGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Work has been insanity on the grandest of scales, which isn't news for me I suppose. I tend to work a bit too much even in the best of times. We put out a new product that has some challenges that we are having to work through. Makes for a lot of headaches, and lots of long hours that have made me a bit too anti computer when I get home from work, so I just haven't felt like blogging.

I also managed to take a header down Shiloh's stairs on Thanksgiving day, and in the process, I broke my ankle in like 4 places and dislocated it which tore tendons and ligaments, as well as doing some shiny nerve damage.  I had to have surgery on it a couple of weeks later, and spent like two months basically trapped at home because I couldn't drive. Needless to say, that was not fun. I am mostly back together now. It still hurts to walk and I can't wear my fins to dive yet, which makes me very sad.  :(  It is improving though.

Life is sorta calming down and getting back on track, so I should be updating more soon.
